Coalition Partner Logo 10th District Democrats

10th L.D. District Dem’s organization is the group of PCO’s and other interested Democrats who live in the 10th L.D. We have quarterly meetings for everyone to attend with speakers and programs. We have Exec. Board meetings once a month between our sites of Skagit, Snohomish, and Island Counties-taking turns hosting the quarterly meetings. Anyone may attend Exec. Board meetings, but only officers may vote then. Everyone may vote at quarterly meetings. Our main goal is to get Democrats elected to the State Legislature. Our secondary goal is to support and help get elected National and County Democrats. Important issues are studied, discussed and voted on.

The 32nd District Democrats represents all or portions of the cities of Edmonds, Kirkland, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park and Shoreline, as well as portions of unincorporated King and Snohomish counties. The District regularly meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month.
At the September 9th meeting the 32nd District Democrats voted to affirm Referendum 71. “All of Washington residents deserve equal rights,” said Chris Roberts, 32nd District Democrats leader on this issue.

Our organization is bound by a common commitment to the principles of the Democratic Party. It is our goal to increase citizen involvement in government by educating 36th District residents about the ideals, goals and operations of the Democratic Party and its candidates, and to involve those residents in Party activities. Our mission is to provide the funds and campaign support necessary to elect good Democrats; to promote our legislative agenda; to pass or defeat ballot measures that support our agenda; to foster accountability from those we elect; and to encourage members to engage in community activities that support the platform, policies, and values of the Democratic Party.

The 40th LD includes all of San Juan County, most of Skagit County and most of South Whatcom County.  We elect one state Senator and two state Representatives.  Each of our legislators sits on a number of important state committees where they represent the interests of our legislative district.

As the democratic political entity which represents the 40th Legislative District, we 40th LD Democrats have the right to choose which candidate(s) to endorse to represent our LD. Our three Democratic County organizations, civic and business groups also endorse candidates, each according to their bylaws and/or endorsement policy.

The 40th LD also holds meetings to educate members and non-members on issues which will or may have the potential to change the rules of our political process, and serve as an information link between the Washington State Democratic Party and 40th LD members.

Art with Heart is a charitable 501c3 nonprofit organization that has helped over 41,000 children through the healing power of creativity. The need for Art with Heart’s therapy-based books and programs is driven by the approximately 17 million children in the U.S. alone that are experiencing special health care needs or mental health disorders.

C&C is recognized nationally for its advocacy of choice for the terminally ill and its commitment to improved treatment of pain and other symptoms. C&C’s unique service includes the ongoing relationships we develop between our case managers and those who want to explore end-of-life choices. Each year we provide information and consultation to hundreds of patients and families. Two of our primary concerns: no one dies in pain and no one dies alone.
